The shower chair was my first purchase after receiving my second disabling diagnosis, a diagnosis that allowed me to find more radical acceptance in myself as dynamically disabled. This chair has given me freedom that I wasn’t expecting, but also serves as a constant humbling symbol of disability and the grief that comes with it.
