Instagram has 800 million users, and while everyone seems to have one, not everyone has mastered the art form that is creating a visually appealing and consistent looking feed. Whether you use Instagram for fun, to show the world how cute your dog Oscar is, to raise awareness for your new fashion blog, or for a business, it is an app that is growing every day and isn't going away anytime soon. So why not master it?
I'm here to give you all my tips and tricks to create that branded and beautiful feed that you want, through the idea that you can't have a pretty grid without good content. And in order to have good content, you need to get back to the basics of learning to take and edit a photo with intention.
In my three-hour workshop we will go over the following:
what really makes a "pretty feed"
tips on taking the different types of photos that seem to be the most popular on Instagram
how to use photography techniques to set up a great photo even on your phone
how to properly edit your photos and what each tool actually does (no more sliding around dials until you give up.)
Step-by-step instructions on how to use my favorite applications I use to execute my Instagram
Towards the end, there will be a break-out portion of the workshop where you will all get to go around and take photos using your phones, edit, and schedule them out to post all while I'm right by your side answering any questions you may have and offering my expertise.
So treat yourself to a fun Saturday spent learning, creating, and connecting with others. Oh, and there will be snacks and drinks provided. :)
I look forward to seeing you there!
